Forces seek Rs 27 lakh crore over next 5 years for defence projects
The armed forces have sought an allocation of Rs 26.84 lakh crore ($416 billion) over the next five years to ensure requisite military modernisation and maintenance to take on the collusive threat from Pakistan and China as well as to safeguard India’s expanding geostrategic interests.

Cut height for flight path, 70 Mumbai buildings told

Govt asks businesses to register under GST by July 30
The government on Saturday asked traders to get registered under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime by July 30. However, traders with turnover of below Rs 20 lakh or those engaged exclusively in the supply of exempted goods or services need not register under the new tax regime.
