Caveat emptor is an old Latin phrase that simply means "buyer beware. It warns the buyer to perform due diligence on the product or service before buying because the buyer alone is responsible for checking the quality and suitability of goods before a purchase is made. In this installment the Kenyan voters are the buyers and Raila Odinga is the seller.
