IDBI Q3 loss widens to Rs 2,255cr as bad loans soar
Public sector lender IDBI Bank's net loss widened further to Rs 2,254.96 crore in the third quarter of 2016-17 due to higher provisions for rising bad loans and fall in income.

MP government to form JVC with railways
The MP cabinet, chaired by chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, on Tuesday gave its nod to the proposal of forming a JVC with the ministry of railways for expansion of railway network in the state. The state government will have 51% share and the railways remaining 49% share in the JVC.

Govt sells 2% in ITC through block deals
Through block deals in early trades on Tuesday, the government is believed to have sold about 2% of the 11.12% it holds in tobacc major ITC. State run insurance major LIC was the buyer of government’s stake in ITC.
