Thanx Paul for this. I also like the one where the Jews ask Jesus (mockingly) that He is not yet 50 years old and He has seen Abraham? He tells them, before Abraham was, I AM.
The Gospel according to John tells us of the Word, which was with God, which was God. Jesus is the Word, Jesus is God. Isn’t this just wonderful, that God has revealed all these things to us?

Subject: VS: Why Many Don't Really Know Who Jesus Is?
Mr. Liyai et el;
In oder to know who Jesus was one must start with the book of Genesis( the beginning) 22:13 Just notice the contradiction or parallel here between the ram offered on the altar as a substitute for Isaac and Christ offered on the cross as a substitute for us. Look how God stopped Abraham from sacrificing his son, God did not spare his own Son, Jesus, from dying on the cross. If Jesus had lived, the rest of humankind would have died. God sent his only Son to die for us so that we could be spared from external death we deserve and instead receive eternal life.
John 1:4, In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.
John 1:14 The word in the Genesis became flesh means becoming human. By doing so, christ became 1) perfect teacher, in Jesus`s life we see how God thinks and therefore how we should think . 2) the perfect example, as a model of what we are to become, he shows us how to live and gives us the power to live that way. 3) the perfect sacrifice, Jesus came as a sacrifice for all sins, and his death satisfied God´s requirement for the removal of sin.
John 1:14 stresses these; The One and Only, who came from the father means Jesus is God´s only and unique Son. The emphasis is on unique. Jesus is one of a kind and enjoys a relationship with God unlike all believers who are called children and said to be born of God.
When Christ was born, God became a man. He was not part man and part God, he was completely human and completely divine: before Christ came people could know God partially. After Christ came , people could know God fully because he became visible and tangible in Christ. Christ is the perfect expression of God in human form. Jesus is both God and Man. Jesus never needed a human father. He never suffered any disease though born in manger. He was perfect in all corners, immunity, spiritual, physical etc. Just superb. Supernatural. Why would God need a biological father, while He is the Father of everything ( from A-Z)?.

Aihe: Why Many Don't Really Know Who Jesus Is?
Why Many Don't Really Know Who Jesus Is?
Do you know why many people don't really know who Jesus is?I will tell you today. Kings and leaders are always born in palaces in big cities and great Kingdoms and in Noble Royal Families of the world. But this child was born a "bastard" . If you know what the name really means. It means "a person born of unmarried parents; an illegitimate child. or a vicious, despicable, or thoroughly disliked person: The Webster's dictionary says that BASTARD means: something that is spurious, irregular, inferior, or of questionable origin.
Many people have refused to acknowledge Jesus Christ because he was of questionable origin. His foster Father decided to leave him and his mother before he was born because he was not his father and doubted Mary's faithfulness. HOW CAN A VIRGIN BE WITH BABY? He decided to run away from the engagement to cancel the wedding.
Another reason many people do not know Jesus Christ is not only because he was born out of wedlock but also out of season. He was born in a very cold season when a census was being taken and his parents did not make plans for "baby shower" How can a baby claiming to be a king be born in a cow shed? How can a son of God be put in a manger? How can such a one who claims to be saviour of the world be born and stay with filthy dirty animals? Now do you see why many people don't know Jesus?
Lastly, it is not only being born out of Wedlock and out of season that blinds the hearts of men but also the woman who gave birth to Jesus was questionable. who was she? Whose daughter was she? The area where Mary lived was remote and rural.
Her family was poor and although Mathew presents her as a descendant of the Royal family of King David, in actual sense she was a nobody. If we compare where Mary lived with our present life, Mary could have lived in the equivalent of Northern Kenya in Turkana County or West Pokot. If you read Isaiah 53 a clear picture is painted of Jesus' background:
Who has believed our report?
And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
2 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant,
And as a root out of dry ground.
He has no form or comeliness;
And when we see Him,
There is no beauty that we should desire Him.
3 He is despised and rejected by men,
A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
In conclusion, being born among the commoners, poor people, slam dwellers, out of wedlock, out of season and being laid in a manger on day 1 made Jesus Christ an obscure figure even to his own siblings. Only Mary knew who he was and she sang this beautiful song the Magnificat
The Song of Mary
And Mary said:
“My soul magnifies the Lord,
And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.
For He who is mighty has done great things for me,
And holy is His name. Luke 1:46-47, 49
