Re: [wanabidii] Re: [ProgressiveMinds] Voting for Uhuru has consequences

Pierre,

I hope your very wise message sinks in. I don't think the tribalists have understood what the consequences mean. They will "return" us the word when they see what's happening.

Courage

Very true Double O-O,

But trust us Kenyans to vote for Moi twice, now we want to vote for a "Mr. Sonko" in Nairobi, and recall not long ago watching votes being stolen at midnite and dusk swearing-in leading to chaos??...truly like a 3rd world country.

Of course I would advise all doubters to carefully google "effects of sanctions in (1)Cuba, (2)Gaza strip/Palestine and (3)North Korea".... and compare the effects. Make sure you google 'images' too and see the suffering especially in the West Bank.

Its not fun, its not nice, its not human, but the US does not give a dam*!!  They may not be party to ICC but their modus operandi and diplo-speak on the trial is all out there for all with eyes to see... and a brain too.  I am a Kenyan damu and can and have taken a lot of 5hit from our stupid polical clowns over the last 49 years, but I can assure you in this inter-connected world now, I/we cannot afford sanctions of any kind!!

Of course you do not have to vote for RAO, you can also vote for "others" and ensure your life continues un-interrupted come post-elections.

I pray for wise voting, peaceful elections....and please DO NOT STEAL VOTES like you did last time...its a KENYAN seat which the other communities too are entitled a fair run for.
God bless,

PP

Friends,

Sometimes it is good to be very clear.

A vote for Uhuru Kenyatta will mean the cost of living going up because of sanctions that will be slapped on us by the west.

Bread will start selling at Kshs 1200/-, Milk at 1500/-, Unga at 2500/-, Petrol at 7000/- per litre, Parafin at 6000/- per litre.

It will also mean your monthly rent of Kshs 5000/- rising to 30000/- per month.
Is is really worth it?

Again, we have just been told that the Central Bank coffers are empty. Can you surely trust these guys with Kenya and our future? Think of the Foreign Exchange saga. Think of the Budget errors. Think of the land issue.

Uhuru should go solve his issues at ICC and come back. Once cleared, I will vote for him in 2030. But as at now, I must not be part of his tribulations even as I sympathize with him. He should face his issues like a man. He should not commit mass suicide with Kenyans.

But as at now, I will vote for stability and posterity. I will vote for Raila Amolo Odinga and his Team because my vote has very clear consequences on my life.

Oto
