Sensex rebounds 164 points to open above 23,000-mark
The 30-share index rebounded by 164.44 points or 0.71% to quote above the 23,000-mark at 23,116.27 with sectoral indices led by IT, tech and FMCG, trading back in positive zone, rising by up to 0.76%.

Rupee at 29-month low, sinks 7 paise vs dollar  
The dollar was firm against some global currencies which weighed on the rupee, but a higher opening of the domestic equity market capped the losses, dealers said.

SBI sees record Rs 20k crore loans turn bad
Corporate loans of over Rs 20,000 crore advanced by State Bank of India soured and Bank of India reported a loss of Rs 1,505 crore in the quarter ended December 2015 as the RBI's move to get banks to unearth bad loans played out in quarterly results.
