[wanabidii] Re: Shame, Shame, Shame: Rachael Shebesh quits house committees over clash with Senator Mike Sonko

Evans,

I'm bothered and concerned every time a woman is assaulted no matter why. If you look at all these situations, you will notice that in each case, the physical assault  (slap) was not necessary and alternative ways of solving the conflict were available. You only assault someone if you're life is threatened or in self-defence.

I'm even more bothered when I hear people cheering and happy with the fact that Shebesh was slapped. It shows that politics has really blinded us to the point that we do not recognize right from wrong. It's just sad !!
There was a lot of outcry when Kidero slapped Shebesh yet Sonko administered a more thorough beating on her but we've not heard a single squeak from the Jubilee crowd. Why? Because Sonko is in Jubilee.

We Kenyans are gradually becoming sociopaths (don't know difference between right and wrong) without realizing it.

Courage

In spite of out cries that the Dr.Kidero slap was violence on or about women,we are yet to hear about similar cries on her altercations with Senator Sonko.

@Linet,u didn't need to vote for her to be your leader.

But i congratulate her for her move so that she can recollect herself and begin afresh so that she can lead without sensationalism her private and social life not being a factor with us.

Violence is bad, reason should prevail for the tough emerging women of leadership.

Shebesh should also resign as Nairobi women's representative... what a disgrace .........

Is this the role of a women's rep? to go and fight with men...... i did not vote for her....................
