Acting President Edgar Lungu has gracefully handed over the instruments of power to Vice President Dr. Guy Scott pursuant to the provisions of the Zambian constitution.
The development comes after the confirmation of President Micheal Sata's death and the ensuing debate on whether Dr. Scott was eligible to act.
Mr. Lungu, will now revert back to his positions as the country's Defence & Justice Minister.
