Sensex rallies 181 points on OPEC deal, F&O expiry
Market benchmark Sensex surged over 181 points and the NSE Nifty reclaimed the 8,800-mark on Thursday after global markets cheered a surprise deal by OPEC to cut oil production for the first time in eight years.

Rupee good run continues, gains 3 paise against dollar
Continuing its good run for the sixth day at a stretch, the rupee appreciated by 3 paise to 66.43 against the US dollar in early trade on Thursday at the Interbank Foreign Exchange on continued selling of the greenback by exporters and banks amidst higher opening in the domestic equity market.

Sebi allows trading in options contracts on commodities
Markets regulator Sebi on Wednesday allowed commodity derivatives exchanges (commexes) to start trading options contracts on commodities. As of now commexes are allowed to trade only in commodity futures.
