Sensex slips more than 300 points, Nifty crumbles too as markets crash
The 30-share BSE Sensex slipped 317.74 points to close at 31,213.59 while 50-share NSE Nifty came down by 109.45 points to close at 9,710.80. Analysts believe that this major correction in markets was due after the emphatic bull run it saw in the last couple of months.
