Inventory woes ahead of GST pushes India's gold imports four-fold: Reports
India's gold imports in May surged fourfold from a year ago to 103 tonnes as jewellers increased purchases to replenish inventory and stock up ahead of GST, provisional data from consultancy GFMS showed.

Sensex closes at fresh high; market confident after GST rates finalise
30-share BSE Sensex rose 36 points to close at fresh record high of 31,309 while NSE Nifty settled at 9,675, up by 21.6 points. The broader index touched all time high of 9,687.20 during the intra day trade.
