Sensex rises more than 300 points; Nifty breaches 9,650-mark
Equity benchmarks Nifty and Sensex saw a steep spike on Monday after a fairly sedate showing last week. 30-share BSE Sensex gained 255.17 points to finish at 31,311.57 and the broader 50-share NSE Nifty went up by 69.50 points to close at 9,657.55.
