Sensex sinks 232 points on downbeat macroeconomic data
The BSE sensex stayed in the negative zone throughout the day and touched a low of 26,468.59 before ending lower by 231.94 points, or 0.87 per cent, at 26,515.24. The 50-share NSE Nifty also slipped below the 8,200-mark to touch a low of 8,154.45
