[wanabidii] Re: [PK] Re: Uhuru Kenyatta to face ICC judges as he hands power to William Ruto

Judy,

I want to ask you an innocent question and please take it in the spirit in which I'm asking it.

Are you by any chance looking for an appointment or a Tender from the Jubiliar government?

Or your toxic hatred of Raila bringing about this support for Uhuru purely by default?

Courage

Paul,

Truly I could be one and the only one, but the fact remain that, no other African President in history ever attended a high level international Court and in the event handed power to his deputy.  In my recollection, I traced none except Uhuru and that shall make history.  It may hurt other people, but I am sorry, history has been made here..........Uhuru made his case, and he proceeds in person to defend his record.  At the end of the day, those who were vying for positions, in my small head, have more responsibilities to explain what actually happened and show cause why the case is not ending with Uhuru............which we shall await to see ........... The case of the victims shall demand that justice is seen to have been done, and that too is another ball game altogether.

Two, that the fact remain that Uhuru was a peoples elected President and that the peoples President holds peoples Government Office until the next election.  There are those who will not like it, but they will live with it till next election time...........

Third, Kenya hosts 42 tribes and all tribes are bound together by the constitution and for the sake of unity of purpose, policy and law are our guiding principles.

Until we all accepts and plays by the rules, there is no short-cut .......  God is for all of us.......and Law is law...............

Cheers!!!

Judy,

No BIG DEAL! He is NOT the first African President to hand down power temporarily. Secondly, the action was more hot air than anything. The KATIBA states that the DP becomes acting president whenever the resident is away. The actual written handover was meant for AU Leaders and people such as Judy. Just to jog your memory on past actions of acting presidents - Mandela used to hand over presidency to including Buthelezi and De Klerk. Nyerere as Prime Minister of Tanganyika also did the same! For Uhuru it is the first time to make it explicit in Kenya.
Hehehehe

Good
People,
President
Uhuru did what has never been done before by any Sitting
African President in history.  It is truly a bold move
putting the country with its people first and has shown
statesmanship that has proved beyond odds displaying
compliance of responsibility for public office.

It
is a unique
move and mostly commendable and Ruto on
the other hand should demonstrate capacity for honor and
respect in the consequence, proving that Kenya has moved far
beyond pettiness and is ahead of most African Countries in
comparison.

Because of
what I see and liking it, as a voice of reason, I impressed
and moved by this mature and wise decision, and am compelled
to stand in tune with President Uhuru and the Country in
this matter.

I wish him
all the best and Pray that, all is well that ends well.

Cheers
!!!
