VACANCY – IMED PRINCIPAL The Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship Development (IMED) is a growing training, consulting and research organization, accredited by the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) and the Association of Business Executives (ABE-UK). Our curriculum is designed to produce performance driven individuals and we aim to be a role model of quality education. We are looking for an entrepreneurial Principal to manage our tertiary education program. Duties and Responsibilities The Principal has overall responsibility for strategic management and leadership of the tertiary education program of the Institute. Reporting to IMED CEO, the Principal's duties include: To market the Institute's tertiary education program to various stakeholders To lead development and review of curricula To lead development of training materials, tools and extra curricula activities that support IMED's approach to teaching and learning To monitor and guide students personal development To cultivate harmonious relationship with students, parents and other stakeholders To support recruitment and development of learning facilitators To supervise, motivate, develop, appraise and discipline learning facilitators To ensure timely collection of fees and other dues To prepare and manage the budget for the tertiary education programs To lead processes of performance management, including learners, sponsors and employers' feedback To propose and implement innovations that enables the Institute to produce highly enterprising and disciplined graduates To prepare and present periodic management and financial performance reports for the tertiary training program Any other duties that may be assigned by IMED CEO Qualifications: A Postgraduate qualification preferably in education, business administration, entrepreneurship or related fields A self directed learner At least 3 years experience in a managerial position in education High level of drive, innovation, commitment and discipline.
