The Consortium of Tanzania Universities and Research Libraries (COTUL)announces the 2017 COTUL Scientific Conference which will be held in September 2017 in Tanzania.
Theme: The role of libraries in strengthening research and development (R&D) towards nurturing industrialization in Tanzania
Sub-themes
Papers should focus on the role of libraries in:
- Increasing the volume and quality of research and innovations to support industrialization.
- Promoting new products, processes, ideas, and innovations for industrialization.
- Supporting improvement of science, technology and innovation (STI) skills.
- Forging and strengthening partnerships and linkages between R&D institutions and industry.
- Role of Library Information Science Schools (LIS) on industrialization
- Role of knowledge management and industrialization.
Submission Guidelines
Abstracts
- All abstracts should be in English. Use appropriate words and correct grammar.
- The abstracts should have a maximum of 300 words.
- The abstracts should contain the following information in the order provided:
ü Title of the abstract
ü Full author details (name, institution and addresses)
ü The abstract should be structured with the following sub-headings:
· Background
· Aim
· Methods
· Results and discussions
· Conclusion
