- 'I lit up their December nights like the Fourth of July'--Malaysian Airline System Flight 653 (MH653) was a scheduled domestic flight from Penang to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, operated by Malaysian Airline System (MAS). On the evening of 4 December 1977, the Boeing 737-200 aircraft flying the service crashed atTanjung Kupang, Johor, in Malaysia, while purportedly being diverted by hijackers to Singapore. It was the first fatal air crash for Malaysia Airlines (as MAS is now known); with all 93 passengers and 7 crew killed instantly.
- 'Fourth of July'---Fourth of July, is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain (now officially known as the United Kingdom).
- Tom Cruise --The flight MH653 was apparently hijacked as soon as it reached cruise altitude. So is MH370, remember the last word? 'alright good night', never heard again!
- 'Vanilla Sky' --- Aeroplane on the sky. Vanilla Sky is a 2001 American science fiction thriller film. it is an English-language remake of the 1997 Spanish film, Abre los ojos (Open Your Eyes)
- 'knocking them out like Pacquiao' ---on the 9th June 2012 Pacquiao lost to Timothy Bradley. He complained that the score was not fair. On the 28th June 2012 the song get started released with the phrase knocking them out like Pacquiao. On the 18th December 2012 Pacquiao lost by KO to Juan Mannuel Marquez on the 6th round.
- 'no Ali' - one passenger who traveled on stolen passport is named Ali.
- 'off to Malaysia' -- plane took off from Malaysia
- 'two passports' -- two stolen passports were involved
- 'three cities'--the plane was to report to KL (Malaysia) tower which they did 'alright good night', the second reporting was to be made in Ho Chi Minh (Vietnam) and the last one was to be made in Beijing.
- 'two countries' --Flight took off in Malaysia and was supposed to land in China
- 'one day' --it has taken almost a day to initiate a search rescue operation (they saw a plane went off course but they did not act professionally e.g. scrambling of fighter jets)
- 'now that's worldwide' --over 9 nations/countries involved in search and rescue, the news was all over the world.
- 'to a passport flooded with stamps' --the stolen passports belonged to Tourists, and had several stamps in it
- 'wet and damp' (spoken) --Yeah, searching of the wreckage is still going deep sea...now they are looking for the black box!
- 'now slowly' --slow pace of searching and rescue mission
- 'everywhere I land' --conspiracy theorist says it landed at DG. Some even says it landed somewhere in India (Mumbai?), who knows!
