And finally...
Uhuru is doing nothing new in appointing political rejects.

Both Kibaki and Moi did the same, though Kibaki to a lesser degree.

The problem for Uhuru is that he made everyone believe the face of his government
would be youths armed with iPads and conducting meetings via Skype.

 He and his deputy William Samoei Ruto said some chap who spins a lot of "vitendawili" represents the past.

Now Palaver is not so sure where that past begins and ends, or whether, like the night travel ban, it was just hot air.
