That is pope"s view of which they may have some errors.
To my view this cant help believers but will keep them more confused.

That is all about history! As all know religious writings were at the
begining based on verbal conversations for a number of centuries and
then changed into crude written history by so many prophets. To my
understanding it was a very tedious and intellectual business to bring
all the writings into a whole. Despite the fact that there was a
special power behind the move but still we can refine some of the
concepts under the same power. Bravo pope Benedict for coming out with
such observations. Why should we keep on believing on something which
is contraversial?.  Will review of our religious history significantly
affect our faiths?
