Kindly accept my humble appreciation and thanks for those who have shown interest in the idea of Africa's self-measurement for African self-management.

My plan is to begin with a group of at least 25 interested persons. The first session will be an orientation seminar on the theory, philosophy and praxis of African self-measurement for African self-management. Therefore, I will organize the seminar once that number is reached.

The Africa Agenda 2063 needs a new standard of measurement. Until now all sorts of Euro-centric metrics have been used to measure Africa in terms of various dimensions and aspects.

I am currently preparing a paper on what I call 'Afrometrics', the African science of self-measurement and self- management, based on Mwalimu Nyerere's philosophy of Self-Reliance.
