Sebi to tighten disclosure norms for rating agencies

India to boost investment in Iranian oil, gas sectors
India and oil-rich Iran have decided to significantly expand engagement in their overall ties, particularly in boosting Indian investment in joint ventures in oil and gas sectors in Iran. Enhancing energy cooperation and development of the Chabahar port in Iran were the centerpiece of talks.

Sebi to tighten disclosure norms for rating agencies
Among the proposed measures, CRAs would have to adopt a policy regarding suspension and subsequent withdrawal of rating and disclose the same publicly. It has also been suggested that Sebi would provide a format of the press release regarding suspension to ensure uniformity across various CRAs.
