Cognizant records 26% growth in net profits
US-headquartered Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTS) on Friday reported revenues of $3.55 billion for the quarter ending March 2017, 10.7% year-on-year (y-o-y) growth from last year’s $3.2 billion. Its revenue grew 2.4% sequentially from last quarter’s $3.46 billion.

Sensex closes 267 points down
The 30-share Sensex hit a low of 29,823.60 before settling at 29,858.80, down 267.41 points, or 0.89 per cent, its biggest single-day fall since March 22 when it had lost 317.77 points.

Jet offers one-day discounts on 24th anniversary
