Mike Okoth's son, Divock Origi, selected to play in the World Cup 2014 for the Belgium squad

The son of a former Kenyan footballer might become the first 'Kenyan' to play in the World Cup next month. 19-year-old Divock Okoth Origi has been named in the Belgium squad for the World Cup. He is the son to former Harambee Stars' striker, Mike Okoth and nephew to Harambee Stars goalkeeper, Arnold Origi.
He is currently playing as a striker for French Ligue 1 team, Lile.
Divock follows in the footsteps of Daniel Adongo, who recently joined the Indianapolis Colts and Chris Froome, the 2013 Tour de France winner.
Stars of Kenyan descent are definitely making it big on the global scene.
