[wanabidii] Extinct by 2050?

Protect African lions from poachers

Wanabidii, you should know that at the current rate, lions could go extinct by 2050.

I want to take action.

Lions have lost 85% of their historic range.

Africa's lions face an increasing number of threats, including:

Farmers kill lions in response to livestock predation

Hunters from all over the world kill lions for sport

Poachers sell lion skeletons and parts off as trophies

And it's not just lions.

We're reversing the trend:

Equip anti-poaching rangers and reduce human-wildlife conflict

Station canine detection units in major ports and work with governments to punish traffickers

Bring successful advocacy campaigns to countries where there is a market for illegal wildlife products

Save them.

Help us protect African species like the lion before it's too late.
