[wanabidii] Swahili Grammar

Ok guys, I'm sure that after all the English lessons, you're now ready for Swahili lessons. I'll start with an easy one. Kenyans have a lot of trouble with these 2; Tanzanians don't.  Watanzania tafadhali msiwasaidie; let them sweat it out for a while.

Which of the following sentences are grammatically correct?

(Ni zipi hapa zilizo sahihi?)

(1) 

Kiswahili ya Mombasa inafanana sana na ile ya Pemba.

or

Kiswahili cha Mombasa kinafanana sana na kile cha Pemba.

(2)

Vita ya Desert Storm haikuwa halali

or

Vita  vya Desert Storm havikuwa halali
