[wanabidii] POLICE SHOOT AND KILL JOURNALIST IN TANZANIA

Journalist Daudi Mwangosi, correspondent for Channel Ten TV station and chairperson of Iringa press club, was shot dead by police this afternoon.

 

Reports reaching Dar es Salaam from Nyololo locality in Mufindi district, in the southern highlands of Tanzania, say the journalist was shot at in the presence leaders of leading opposition Chama cha Demokrasia na Maendeleo (Chadema) party who were officiating at the opening of the party's branch.
