That's exactly how the translation should read!

I am not the best person to translate in Kiswahili but this looks quite easy, unless there is a trick behind:
Depending on the context, here are my best guess:
 
- SOMEONE KILLED HER: Mtu kamuua (Kuna mtu kamuua, or mtu fulani kamuua)
- SHE WAS KILLED BY SOMEONE: Kauwawa (Kauwawa na mtu, kauwawa na mtu fulani)
Since there is no gender pronoun in Kiswahili, this would also be valid if the victim was a male.
