This must be a very stupid criminal, if crime was his motive. Didn't someone tell him that Moslem women don't go to bars? Especially so blatantly while dressed in Buibuis? A very useless character.

What I don't understand is why police is holding him. There's no crime he's charged with. This is a violation of his human rights.

Man BEATEN thoroughly for wearing Buibui in Kwale

The Kenyan DAILY POST 15:15

Tuesday 22nd October 2013 - Angry locals in Msambweni, Kwale County over the weekend beat a 32 year old man for wearing a Muslim female robe (buibui)

The man disguised himself in the female attire and the locals suspected that he was up to mischief. According to eye witnesses, the she-man entered Farmers Bar at around 10am raising eyebrows. It was unusual for a Muslim woman to enter a bar.

After interrogation, the she-man was discovered to be a man disguised in a female robe. The bar patrons raised an alarm attracting locals who beat the man seriously. They noted that such characters were behind kidnapping of children.

The locals while speaking to the media said that two weeks ago, a man disguised himself in buibui and stole a child pretending to be its mother.

Confirming the incident, area OCPD Jack Ekakoro said that the suspect was treated and is currently locked at the Msambweni Police Station. Ekakoro added that he will be interrogated on the motive behind his dress code.
