[wanabidii] Re: Last day of campaigns In Siaya Ahead of Thursday's Mini-poll

Judy,

Rem Rasanga should now make a last minute plea to the voters of Ugenya, Alego, Ugunja, Gem and Rarienda. He should talk about growing up in the hills and valleys of Central Alego as a son of a loathed Senior Chief Amoth Owira, with the same dreams as any other kid in his generation. He should evoke boyhood memories of walking for 15 min from Boro to Siaya to attend  Agricultural Shows and dancing the day away until late night.

In short, Rasanga needs to give a speech of his life, a speech that will have the people crying and tearing up when they imagine a humble youth, this brave son of Alego had.

Otherwise, he's losing this thing to Oduol. Oduol went to Siaya and raised their consciousness and offered a fresh perspective and the people have come. It's going to be a very messy day for Rasanga on Thursday.

Courage

Last day of campaigns In Siaya Ahead of Thursday's Mini-poll
Published on Oct 15, 2013
Politicians from two warring parties, ODM and The National Agenda party Tuesday held their last - minute campaigns in Siaya county seeking to convince the electorate to support their candidates in Thursday's gubernatorial by-election. ODM is seeking to recapture the seat through Cornel Rasanga while William Oduol is vying through the NAPK party.
