[wanabidii] Rasanga Will Win by a LANDSLIDE…in Bondo

Good People,

Good politics is when you keep changing leaders until leaders will begin to respect voters.
Because, a leader who does not take his work seriously, even voters must not waste time
with them.  Life is precious and we cannot play with livelihood and survival a footstool for life.

I am being told that, although Bondo goes to Rasanga; Alego, Ugenya, Rarieda, Gem
and Ugunja goes to Oduol.

Bondo has a total of
59,617.

Total registered voters for SIAYA COUNTY:
311,919.

Oduol has a better chance but take no chances must be taken......cruise to Gem and camp
there till the last minute of voting.............and scrutinize details................

Rasanga Will Win by a LANDSLIDE…in Bondo

Reports reaching the Siaya Democracy desk indicate that
Image
Cornel Rasanga Amoth has secured an irreversible victory-in BONDO.
Unfortunately for him, the area is already represented in the National Assembly by a fellow ODM member, Gideon Ochanda.
BUT some of Rasanga's delirious supporters stopped clapping and thumping their feet when they realized that the seat Rasanga is hankering for is the GOVERNOR of SIAYA slot.
Now a series of BAD NEWS is beginning to trickle into the Team Rasanga HQs.
FACT: Alego is going to be swept by William Oduol.
FACT: Gem voters are voting overwhelmingly for William Oduol.
FACT: Team Oduol is AHEAD in Rarieda.
FACT: Ugenya says " Oduol Nyale".
FACT: Ugunja is trending Denge.
Let us give credit where it is due.
In Bondo, almost every man, woman and youth is casting a ballot for the person Raila Odinga endorsed.
Well, let us check how many registered voters are in Bondo:
ANSWER:
59,617.
Total registered voters for SIAYA COUNTY:
311,919.
DO THE MATHS.

Padwa,
If Rem Rasanga has to have any chance, he should really comb Ugenya, Ugunja and Alego in these remaining 2 days. All he has now is Bondo and Oduol is leading in all the other 5 constituencies. Bondo has only 59,000 votes but the entire county has more than 300,000 registered. Rasanga has an uphill battle in the next 22 days. In March he sailed through because of ODM euphoria and did very little campaigning. This time he really has to campaign.
There's a lot of disquiet in Siaya and the people want a competent and able leadership.
Something I found out recently is that Rasanga's government sent back more than 100 million shillings to the Treasury because they did not use it in time. That money could have made a big difference somewhere had Rasanga had a plan. That money could have repaired the bridge at River Nzoia between Ugunja and Ukwala. That bridge is a disaster waiting to happen.
Or the money could have been loaned to Jua Kalis and Mama Mbogas to help boost their capital base. Or even buy fish refrigeration facilities in Usenge to help fishermen store their fish and get better prices. Right now fishermen are giving away fish at throw-away prices just to avoid spoilage and total loss.
There's alot of anger in Siaya because of that money.

Absolutely Maurice,
What is more, Oduol have not treked in Gem enough. Let him do so today and leave Bondo alone. He has ready votes but they claim he has not take turns there enough, they feel he want to take them for granted although he has very strong agents there.
The biggest mistake is where Rasanga had to return allocation of budget fund back to treasury when there are lots of things to do with public funds. He could even have offered one week community training and given the money to Mama Mboga for local community market or water project or even village electrification & energy to get the small county economy running or put money in school projects that could bring money or give it to University Graduates to start-up job creation so the money begin to revolve to boost bargaining power for investments. We are willing and ready to offer free training modules for the local community to get started.
Rasanga is just a failure that people must not waste time with. He does not understand what Organizing a Community to better be credit worthy for progressive development, so, why waste time with him when people are on the run.
Diaspora too need to call their people in Siaya today, spread the word and tell them who to vote for.
I wish Oduol lack..................

Siaya Manyien en Oduol.........for Maendeleo
The voices of women and men patiently waiting to vote in Mr. Oduol as the new Governor of Siaya, citing poverty, unemployment and other signs of underdevelopment. These Siaya constituents are particularly upset that the outgoing Governor returned millions of shillings to the national Treasury at a time when Siaya was ranked 45 out of 47-a source of shame for the people of Bondo, Gem, Alego, Ugenya, Rarieda and Ugunja who are used to high standards of excellence and achievement. William Oduol requests the voters to give him a chance to help usher in the New Siaya, pledging to do his utmost to spark and spur development, investment and general improvement of livelihoods.

Judy,
It's indeed a wind of change sweeping across Siaya. Ugenya and Alego are always the most loyal to the Odingas and if they go, then Rasanga is dead meat. Word on the ground is that Bondo is still very obedient to the Odingas so Rasanga is expected to win there. But Bondo is only 59,000 votes while the entire Siaya has 300,000+ votes and Oduol is leading in all the other 5 constituencies - Gem, Rarienda, Ugenya, Alego and Ugunja.

If I were Rasanga, I would really comb Ugenya and Alego these next 3 days.

Courage

Judy,

Rem Rasanga is finished. Oduol is going all the way. Rasanga will only get Bondo but Alego, Ugenya, Ugunja, Gem and Rarienda are solidly pro-Oduol.

Notice that even Amolo has abandoned the ship even though last week he came to West Ugenya and urged the electorate to give him Rasamga, someone who will help him with the battles ahead. He even evoked historical emotions of how West Ugenya was the first place Jaramogi appeared in in public when he was released from detention in 1970.
Even with all that effort, Amolo's message was not received well at all. Vijanas were just outshouting him with yells of Gonywa, Gonywa meaning Untie (release) us, Untie us.

Given the historical voting patterns in Ugenya, this is bad news for Rasanga. Ugenya and Alego are usually the most loyal to the Odingas next to Bondo.

Good People,
I believe Siaya people want a leader who is able to involve and consult professionals of Siaya and across the Diaspora to include Obama wuod Alego (even just an idea shared consultatively from his quarters is a blessing and is just enough) for progressive development plan ........ of course, this does not make him a lesser President of the most powerful Nation of the world........and how that leader is going to move the Community of Siaya to greater heights engaging in popular development programs by being open to accountability and transparency....... providing a realistic budget of what projects and programs are in plan and how public funds are fairly distributed and spent.
You don't want a leader who is blind to community progressiveness and is ignorant to social welfare development programs, who have no idea how to organize for good strategic and sustainable challenging development programs moving forward for the county; and shun leaders who even before they have their bottom sit properly on the leadership chair, public funds are already channeled to wrong priorities and are not put on immediate needs for Public mandate (people of Siaya needs) and priority. For the short stint with Rasanga on the seat of Siaya, it was clear he was on the wrong path where there were already bad signs he was not the right leader for Siaya. This was clear from how he won the seat, where it was noted won through back door in an unfair craftiness the reason why his election was disqualified by the court.
This short stint proves he is a bad leader whose ways will be shrouded with lies and cheats deep into more corruption and impunity the Siaya people dont want. Since Rasanga was on chair, he did not open up to the Diaspora people and we wonder what is in his mind about the Diaspora Siayans.............People want to know !!!!!!
In my opinion, I suggest for the people of Siaya to try Oduol who sound promising and truthful. Who I believe will reach out to Diaspora for the Development of Siaya............We cannot wait to make Siaya the most beautiful place on earth the world will want to associate and cooperate with progressive development where poverty and thuggery will remain a thing of the past.
Siaya is already a spot very well known in the world and it is just right that it be lifted in honor it deserves with looks that fairly place it well on the face of the world……and ashame those twisted head who sneer and plan to see Siaya products fail with embarrassment.
If I were a voter, I would vote Oduol, but all the same I have voters on the ground and that is where we are directing our people to go.

I am not Jubilee mole, Siaya County gubernatorial seat contender refutes claims

SIAYA; KENYA: Siaya County gubernatorial seat contestant William Oduol has dismissed claims that his campaign has been sponsored by Jubilee coalition.
Oduol also pointed out that the race was not between President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga as claimed by a section of Cord leaders in the region.
"I am not being sponsored by Jubilee. I am sponsoring the campaigns by myself," he said.
Oduol said his quest for the position on a National Agenda Party of Kenya (NAPK) does not mean he hates Raila but his thirst to spread development and good leadership in Siaya.
"I am not fighting Raila and I am not fighting the party (ODM)," he told a crowd of voters at a rally at Wichlum in Bondo constituency.
He was responding to allegations by his opponents that he was being sponsored by Raila's opponents in the Jubilee coalition.
"This race is between two individuals. Oduol and Cornel Rasanga and elect us based on what we can offer and not which political parties we belong to," said Oduol.
Oduol said his good track record will work for him on Thursday during the by-election.
He expressed confidence that he will win the by-election and he is ready to work with everybody in his government.
Earlier ODM MPs campaigning for Rasanga had urged voters to vote in an ODM member so as to implement the party's policies.
"Even Zachary Obado of Migori County was not elected on the ODM party but has been working harmoniously with elected ODM ward representatives. Why not Oduol?" the NAPK candidate posed.
He said he was confident that the elections were not a measure for Raila's popularity in the region as claimed by his opponents.
"I have worked and I will still work with Raila and all Siaya residents to improve the livelihood of Siaya people," he added.
He said he was committed to development but politically supports Raila's course but would not be cowed by large convoys traversing the county to campaign for ODM candidate.
"You have the power to decide," he told supporters singing 'Siaya manyien, Oduol kende' (A new Siaya with Oduol only) as he toured Bondo and its environs.
