Re: [wanabidii] Re: [tanzanet] DailyNews Online Edition - Norway’s Stateoil to invest 30bn USD in LPG production

Madete,

Kila Mtanzania atafurahi ugunduzi wa maliasili, sidhani kama kuna mtu ambaye yuko against that.

Kwa hiyo soko la dunia litakuwa saturated within the next few years.

RM

>Let me end by stating that the discovery of the natural gas and oil in Tanzania will benefit much the Chinese, Americans and the British than us poor Tanzanians. These are the ones who have invested in the gas exploitation and they will definitely get some profits from such investments. Some clear negative benefits we are expecting to get are such as ecological cum environmental problems and social chaos and unrest as it was already recently  revealed in Mtwara Municipality.

>Not only Richard who is over zealous about the natural gas as the savior to our ailing economy. Many people here think that the natural gas will better our economy. I have the big doubt on this. On the contrary it will be a mere curse! We have the Indian Ocean stretched for over 1000 km but we do not have enough fish to eat! Hence, we will continue to use firewood, charcoals, paraffin lamps etc
