[wanabidii] Re: Sh700 million for Kibaki’s new office

But what kind of an office is this that requires 700 million? How big is the building and how many offices or employees will he have. What role will Kibaki's office be playing in the government? Or is this an office for private business?
haki ya mungu Kenyans we're like sheep. This is just daylight robbery but we won't hear much of it because kikuyus will not talk much about it and the few non-Kikuyus who complain about it will be told to Move On.

I weep for the Kenyan taxpayer sometimes.

Brother Osiemo you are right. Kshs. 700 Million is a lot of money for an ex- President, when majority of the nation is in poverty. I saw a clip of how venomous snakes are killing people in former President Moi's Baringo area and questioned myself how Moi feels when  he sees the level of suffering in his home turf after serving as President for more than two decades.

To be honest, Mzee Kibaki has enough networks to mobilize funds for a good office. If he cared about starting a foundation which will safeguard his legacy, he needs to bring in his Muthaiga club guys to fund-raise for him. The guys are stinking rich. Baminto, batonyarire.

Nyinyi ni bure sana.

Mungekuwa kibaki, mpigs wangekupatia ngapi ndio msipige mdomo!

The Ksh.700m is a carrot and stick for mpigs to bargain with the government so as to have things go their way.

@Rose,when we voted,we had my party & my community/clan factors. Now ,the reality is we cheated ourselves as the honourables have ganged up as mpigs to do what they wanted their reduced workload and quality notwthstanding .

Who said that Kibaki is a professional Economics from the school of Rondoni!

Rose,
The world's and particularly Kenya's problems can not be solved by Politicians,and/or Intellectuals, and/or religion or religious leaders,and/or economics and or militarily.

The problem as a country is that we want to move on but we do not know where we are going.

The answer lies beyond the five physical senses. How do we get there, that is the question?

Can you imagine spending 700 million for an Office for Kibaki and the suffering children of Mbeere are left to die. God have mercy.

Thanks.
GOO.

Now the poor kenyans have to pay taxes for everything to enable people fulfil what they promised kenyans. I WILL COOK FOR YOU WITHIN 90 DAYS BUT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL EXPENSES and the people said "AMEN" and voted heavily. So nobody should complain . You bought the knife to kill yourself. MPS are crying for high salaries yet they have very little workload unlike previous years. Does I have not heard governs say anything. This is why we need intellectuals in that parliament. People didnt see the logic behind academic papers and age but I hope they can now see. Senators are being called retirees by MPs but you can see the wisdom in them. Most of the senators are academically fit and professionals but are MPs having any respect for them? Same way they have no respect for kenyans. Whichever the
