[wanabidii] RAILA ODINGA may be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize (In DC next week) – WHITE HOUSE sources

Good people,

America's prestigious global think tank - the Woodrow Wilson Centre in Washington DC. Is a place for Scholars The institution engages in sharing and study of National and world affairs. Its mission is to commemorate ideals and concerns of Woodrow Wilson by:

providing a link between the world of ideas and the world of policy; it fosters research, study, Advocacy group, discussion sharing and collaboration amongst groups of individuals concerned with policy and scholarship in national and world affairs.

President Woodrow Wilson was the 28th USA President During world war 1 in 1913-1921 where he served two Terms. He justified world war 1 because of violation of Right of His people so his people can enjoy the freedom for Independence but constantly pushed for world peace.

He showed great enthusiasm to stay out of the war and to create world peace. He showed that he cared for the people and that he would do just about anything to help them.

If Raila is considered for Nobel Peace medal, I see nothing wrong with that. He deserves it. He did well to accept the verdict of court otherwise Kenya would have been thrown to war with each other because, in his deepest heart, he believed that he truly won when in actual sense he became very relaxed, his close agents took him for a ride and that made him too contented when his competitors calculated every move and took advantage where they could capitalize in Raila's failures or weakness. So to make sense and calm such a situation was extremely very difficult, and that we must accept to face reality as a people who care for each other that, politics is a competitive game just like that of sports. It is here where good brains must be engaged and people deliberate and negotiate to balance and deliver people's needs and make constitutional policies to work for the benefit of the people in progressive development in order to harmonize and improve public welfare, survival and livelihood according to human rights.

People must grow-up to understand that, at every step in life, we all need each other. We compete and challenge each other, but at the end of it all, we must accept defeat and move on. If former PM Raila gets the award, I see no reason why we all should not wish him well and join to celebrate with him this humble recognition for good statesmanship he displayed over the years as he struggled for Rights.

Raila does not have to be perfect in life endeavours and in his struggle in politics. We all falter at some point and loose our bearing, but we stand up and pick up pieces and move on. We all must remember that, no one is 100%; but above all, we must share in Love for the sake of happiness. To be fair, Raila deserve a pat in the back......as weaknesses is to human.......Let us give credit where credit is due......We dont want this hatred........it will take Kenyans no where.......Let us begin a new walk and start to plan seeds for peace and unity........

Let us all wish former PM Raila well and join with him to celebrate the award instead of criticizing.........

THIS IS A LOAD OF CRAP

Friday June 14, 2013 - Former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga's chance of
scooping the Nobel Peace Prize is gaining momentum, after US President
Barrack Obama sent him a congratulatory message thanking him for
accepting the verdict of the Supreme Court that upheld the election of
President Uhuru Kenyatta as Kenya's fourth president.

In the letter which was delivered by the US ambassador to Kenya Robert
Godec , Obama hailed praises to Raila Odinga and also thanked him for
being invited to America's prestigious global think tank - the Woodrow
Wilson Centre in Washington DC.

"Through your words and your actions, you affirmed the importance of
the rule of law and constitutional order and helped ensure a better
future for Kenyans," Obama told Raila in the letter.

Raila, who is regarded as the father of democracy in Kenya, is
expected to leave the country next week to Washington DC where he will
deliver a key note speech on "Africa's next 50 years" at Woodrow
Wilson Centre in Washington DC.

Only highly respected individuals with high influence in their
countries are admitted for a fellowship at the Woodrow Wilson Centre.

Currently former Trade Minister and UNTACD Secretary General, Dr
Mukhisa Kituyi, is serving his fellowship at the Centre.

Unconfirmed sources from White House said President Barrack Obama has
proposed Raila Odinga to be conferred the Nobel Prize for peace for
the year 2013.
