[wanabidii] Re: [PK] NJUE AT IT AGAIN

Most if not all missions start by donated resources (land, fundraisings and volunteering services) according to the my S.D.A Church that makes reports every saturday with a special quaterly publication.

Communities and members of the locality are meant to benefit from the services (of course not for free per se),jobs and other infrastructural that goes with the project.

The pioneer leaders do alot of good work but do not own the project as their property. In the course of time, they make an income notwithstanding the sacrifices, personal efforts etc that they employ. Its indeed interesting that the church gets entangled onto cases about land they never purchased and if purchase was done, congregants are the ones whose funds were used and must remain a community project.

Let Njue look for properties elsewhere.

Folks,

Anything done in the Name of the Church, remains the property of the dioces in which it is established.

If a religious person wants to acquire or own property the he must not use the name of the Church to acquire it, what Njue is doing as the Chairman of the episcopal conference in Kenya is to try and revert that property to the Dioces which is very right.

Had Njue done anything wrong in this, the pope's rep would have reprimanded him or the rest of the Bishops would have announced 'kijitenga ' with the issue.

Cheers.

Some of these people went into priesthood not out of a calling but it was the only option left to them after Form 4. It's the same as what you see when one goes into Teaching as a last resort or someone with a "bad head" is told "you're only good for the police or security forces; you have a bad head.
Some of these church professionals are more corrupt than an average Kenyan. I know one Post Office in Ugenya whose manager is a Pastor. No parcel sent through that PO, especially from overseas, ever makes it to the recipient. A friend of mine in the US has sent several parcels to his mom though that PO and she never receives any of them. The guy is now arranging a special trip to Kenya to come and "have a talk" with that Pastor. Courage
