Paul Nyandoto wuod dala, What I am saying is that, let us move forward. This means we have no other means to get Uhuru and Ruto out of the Government unless we are within the law and we must follow the constitutional requirement and policy for change we want. We demanded for the change and we must stick with it to give us good results. Here is how: let us demand for public mandate through the Regional elected official representatives to deliver public service requirements and engage in developement and progressive endeavours. If they fail to perform that will be another story. My good friend, the Government belong to the people and it is our duty to make the government work for the people so, we have to provide proceedure how we want to be governed. Look here, we have most serious cases of "Land Grabbing" and we are not going to look the other way when our wealth and resources are being stolen and taken away from us for free. What we have in our hands are the lands and resources that we must protect and trade with the same to bring us the progressive development we want.....but the moment someone is encroaching into your property to acquire your wealth irregularly then that person must be asking for trouble. It is the same with when one opens you naked leaving your bottom wide open for every tom dick and harry to harrow, even if you are mad you will notice and you will make noise because it is not taken with your consent and it is not a regular thing nor is it comfortable to be left in the cold or open for public without a balance for compensation. This means a thief comes to steal and destroy... ...so you are pushed to the street without a shelter or place to call home........ you are then left to decay or perish......... We want to engage all thievers wether in government or out of government to face justice and return what they stole. I would rather deal with the thieves individually rather than when they are in coalition on a united front; so we are able to get back the Migingo, and not allow them to penetrate as far as getting Mombasa port to be released to Museveni. I will not encourage people to take law in their own hands to give selfish greedy access to public resource to benefit thievers to play us dummy. They want to destroy evidence by creating unreasonable war and that shall not be allowed to happen. They are defeated now because they cannot take what they are aiming for unless their is some type of civil war.....we shall not give them that occasion. Thieves want to steal your land so that they decide how to feed you. You will survive at their mercy.......We shall not give them this occassion.......... Thieves can sell anything; even your life is at stake when thieves are united so, there is no good thief or better ..... but all thieves are bad and worse to sefty and security for humanity...... I witnessed thieves selling their own father and mother to get position for wealth.....and they are present in our midst......how will they treat you differently........wake up.....!!! Thieves conspire and agree to do bad things to satisfy their selfishness and greed. They do very bad things that cannot provide a balance for good life. They do not act on reality.......they are always planning for evil........and they do very very bad things......they dont care when they live you on the cold, hungry and hurting. That is when they are happy......You must be careful when you are dealing with thieves. HOW WILL WE BATTLE INJUSTICES IN KENYA IF WE DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT PERSON ON TOP?: LOOK AT KAMESHI PATTINI WALKING AWAY WITH 150 billion tax payers money . How about that with your so called SC doing a good job. On Sun, May 5, 2013 at 2:06 PM, Judy Miriga <jbatec@yahoo.com> wrote: Good People, If that is the case, then both Raila and Uhuru rigged. This could probably be the reason why Raila did not have a strong case in court based on forms 34, 35 and 36. Every Agent from both parties signed at constituency tallying centers; Exactly, what happened ? This was supposed to have been done before they were delivered to IEBC Chairman at National tallying center in Nairobi. Why did Raila's attorneys miss to address this basic facts. Even if the rigging was in daylight robbery, the complainants attorney must zero in on tangible conclusive true evidence which the the jury analizes and rule on as facts. So if it was a repeat of 2007, then who do you blame? Again, lets be objective and stop putting on fire to heat the room on a sunny day in Mombasa................ The fact remains that you cannot pass a test if you do not prepare for the exam. The selfish and greedy Coat-Hangers failed Raila and I do not hear that complaint discussed or how they expect or wish to do better next time. However, it is time everyone go back to basics drawing board at their corner and give us space to move on; the verdict cannot be reversed it is over................ I mean, we are all Kenyans with children from the same family; it is difficult to take sides and discriminate on anyone but take an informed fair-play judgement to resolve a problem amicably and restore peace, so we can move on. By doing that does not show weakness but strength. It is still a prerogative that all must obey the Law and we need space to engage progressively moving forward. The Supreme Court has authenticated whatever rigging that took place, and we know there was a lot. Harvard dons say neither Uhuru nor Raila attained 50 pc vote Updated Sunday, May 5th 2013 a 00:00 GMT +3 By Felix Olick NAIROBI, KENYA: An exit poll during the March 4 polls claims that there was a statistical tie between CORD leader Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta with both failing to hit the 50 per cent plus one mark. The poll conducted by two US political scientists puts Raila ahead at 40.9 per cent while Uhuru who was declared the winner of the presidential contest, at 40.6 per cent. Surprisingly, the poll almost accurately predicted the votes secured by then Amani presidential candidate Musalia Mudavadi and Alliance for Real Change candidate Abduba Dida. The poll had predicted that Mudavadi would score 3.74 per cent of the votes but from the resultsby the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, Mudavadi scored 3.93 per cent. However, the poll accurately predicted the outcome for Dida, who garnered 0.43 per cent of the votes as was predicted by the pollster. However, the poll also shows that 11.8 per cent of Kenyans included in the survey refused to indicate for whom they had voted for in the historic presidential race. According to the survey, the results represent a statistical tie between the two top contenders since due to the survey’s margin of error. 50 plus 1 Harvard University professor James D Long who was one of the researchers maintained that neither Uhuru nor Raila could score the requisite 50 per cent plus one vote as required by law even if the margin of error was slightly higher. Prof Long is also the author of the paper, Determinants of Ethnic Voting, which is part of a book he is working on examining how elections undermine or buttress democracy and accountability. Regarding the March 4 Kenya’s General Election, Prof Long said: “Even taking account of various statistical uncertainties, there is no reasonable assumption that gets either candidate to 50 per cent,†Long said this while releasing the results of the exit poll on Thursday at a Washington think-tank forum. The researcher termed as a statistical myth that Uhuru seriously benefited from a comparatively higher turnout in Kikuyu-dominated parts of the country. "The contention that Kenyatta benefited from a comparatively much higher turnout in Kikuyu-dominated parts of the country was shown through the exit poll to be a myth," Long insisted. IEBC results The two Researchers, however, remained mum on likely causes of the discrepancy between their survey's results and the final results released by the Isaac Hassan-led commission. However, the pollsters had no evidence of vote rigging in terms of stuffing of ballot papers or vote buying. While responding to a question by a member of the audience why the results Kenyan election could be invalid, Long retorted, ""Because people broke the law when they counted votes." The IEBC switched from the electronic transmission and tallying of results to the manual after the latter collapsed. However, the Supreme Court later ruled that it was not illegal for the electoral commission to switch to the manual system after the electronic one failed. The survey showed that 83 per cent of the Kikuyu voted for Uhuru, while 94 per cent of the Luo voted for Raila. From the Kamba, according to the poll, Raila got 63 per cent for while Uhuru got 12 per cent. However, Raila got 11 per cent from the Kalenjin, while Uhuru scored 74 per cent. Raila has always insisted that the election was not free and fair. On Friday, he made a scathing attack on Chief Justice Willy Mutunga over the Supreme Court judgement that dismissed his petition. Raila has also insisted that the IEBC has lost the confidence of Kenyans and cannot be trusted to steer the country's next election in 2017. During their titanic court battle Raila insisted that from the Forms 34 and 36, it was clear Uhuru’s votes were intentionally inflated while his were reduced in an apparent trend to “meet a given thresholdâ€. The former Prime Minister had also demanded a forensic audit of the entire electronic system used in the March 4 presidential election, but the Supreme Court declined to grant his request. |
