Speaker Makinda received the "US Embassy Coin of Excellence"
US Ambassador to Tanzania H.E Alfonso E. Lenhardt presenting "the US Embassy Coin of Excellence" to the Speaker of the National Assembly Hon. Anne Makinda for the recognition of her contributions she had made to the development of the country in a position as a leader. Hon. Makinda she is the first female to become Speaker in Tanzania and she had worked in different position including Cabinet Minister before becoming the Speaker in 2010. The event took place at the Speakers Office in Dodoma when the Ambassador payed a courtesy call to her Office today.
