[wanabidii] RE: When smart people execute dumb and stupid rules

Pole sana J4 but all in all somewhere someone did not play his/her role properly or timely. With today's world of insecurities in every corner I am not suprised to what happened to you and for God's sake forgive the officials whom you encountered at Zurich, instead blame the Tanzanian counterpart. If you reported your missing passport to Tanzania, normally what the immigration do is to register the case in the Interpol network. In this case your passport gets blacklisted worldwide. If your lost/misplaced passport is found, the immigration in TZ must know and must toke action to update the status in the interpol systems. It is a process to ensure that it is updated appropriately. e.g. no criminal incidence could have been associated to it. Now you know very well our fellow Tanzanian, the challenges is on when exactly the report was registered into the interpol system and if at all it has ever been updated since you found your passport.

Ndo dunia ya sasa ya mambo ya kidigitali kaka....

It's amazing to see smart people execute blindly a very stupid and dumb rule, without a ounce of common sense!

Take a note, not to happen to you.
