I also congratulate the Adekunle Ajasin University for its foresight in conferring this award, ahead of older Nigerian universities that had enjoyed the fruits of Professor Falola's academic reputation and intellectual efforts over the last three decades. I also pray that Professor Falola's social and intellectual nation will continue and flourish...
