[wanabidii] Re: [uchunguzionline] Jesus: A Prophet of Islam - By Siraj Wahhaj ( Former Christian)

Twaha you have no right whatsoever to call my Faith "claims" and empty words. I have all along respected your views and will never dismiss what you say about your faith. What I said is, matters of Faith especially spiritual matters are very subjective and there is no way you can for sure say that any ones faith and conviction is empty words. What do you mean when you say that? Please do not attack my faith because I know the Jesus I am worshiping and have no apologies to make. JESUS IS LORD!

This Jesus I am talking about will one day meet you because He is looking for you and He loves you. Again Twaha, what the Quran says about Isa is only true to Muslims who believe a prophet who ran away from death but the will come again I do not know to do what. My Jesus will come back to Judge you if you will not have known Him by the time he comes.
All the people who convert to Islam are just reacting to something else they associate with Christianity. I will get time to respond to the videos you posted in here.

Please can you respond to my postings on the use 'If" I WILL NOT STOP ASKING YOU THIS. Your Quran does not ANSWER THE FOLLOWING; where DID SATAN CAME FROM? WHY HE IS HERE? WHAT IS THE ORIGIN OF SIN?, WHAT IS SALVATION? WHY DO PEOPLE DIE? WHERE DOES EVIL COME FROM? Who created demons?
Please outline for me in detail what Islam teaches on this issues and then detail for us why will your Prophet Isa will come back, where? When? and how? Give us Quranic quotes. NO COMMENTARIES HERE.

Paul, your claims of personally knowing Jesus (pbuh) will only remain so. Just empty words, with absolutely nothing to substantiate for Jesus (pbuh) himself will disown all those who worship him.

Allah, The All Knower of the seen and unseen, the creator of the heavens and the earth and everything else says in the holy Quran:

"And (remember) when Allah will say (on the Day of Resurrection): "O 'Îsa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)! did you say unto men: 'Worship me and my mother as two gods besides Allah?' " He will say: "Glory be to you! It was not for me to say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, you would surely have known it. you know what is in my inner-self though I do not know what is in yours; truly, you, only you, are the All-Knower of all that is hidden (and unseen). "

(  Al-Maeda, Chapter #5, Verse #116)

So what you actually claim to know personally is Satan and his troops who has ordered you to worship the created instead of the creator. But one thing surprising though, Satan himself will disown you on the day of judgment when the matters have been settled if you continue worshing the created until the certainty reaches you. Allah says in the Holy Quran:

"…Satan who orders man to disbelieve, and when man has disbelieved, he says: "I have nothing to do with you; I fear Allah, Lord of the worlds"(59:17).

Moreover, people of all walks of life, from all other religions have embraced Islam and infact there is a good book written by our Kenyan brother Omar Kenga entitled "They are either Extremely Smart or Extremely Ignorant".  The book provides profiles of prominent converts together with some of their motives for accepting Islam. The content discussed tend to put to light the fact that mankind is fed up with man made art of living and they are in a continuous quest for a God-made art of living. The book intends to inform the public the indisputable fact that men and women are increasingly embracing Islam. It also highlights the fact that Islam is the fastest growing religion.

If there is any brother/sister who has the soft copy of the book, will be worth posting it and will be very much appreciated.

Dear Twaha,
Now I can confidently respond to your posting of these fabricated videos of people with suspect character who claim to have been Christians but their Christianity is a false one because surely surely I tell you today that no true Christian who has come to a personal relationship with Jesus would embrace another God.
Secondly, most of those Americans of whatever race who have become Muslims do so because of the following reasons:-
1. Reaction
Most African Americans who started becoming Muslims including Malcolm X, Farrakhan, Elijah Mohamed and the rest did so because they were using Islam as a fulcrum on to which they could launch their assault to racial discrimination that they were experiencing at that time. This was because most Non-African American Christians owned slaves and behaved contrary to what scripture taught.
2. Most of those who became Muslims had not a personal experience with Jesus because they either were brought up in Christian homes and therefore grew up thinking that they were Christians. These lot are described in the Parable of Jesus about the Sower who out to sow seeds. You can read it Mathew 13
That day Jesus went out of the house and was sitting by the sea. And [a]large crowds gathered to Him, so He got into a boat and sat down, and the whole crowd was standing on the beach.
And He spoke many things to them in parables, saying, "Behold, the sower went out to sow; and as he sowed, some seeds fell beside the road, and the birds came and ate them up. Others fell on the rocky places, where they did not have much soil; and immediately they sprang up, because they had no depth of soil. But when the sun had risen, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. Others fell [b]among the thorns, and the thorns came up and choked them out. And others fell on the good soil and *yielded a crop, some a hundredfold, some sixty, and some thirty. He who has ears, [c]let him hear."

An Explanation

10 And the disciples came and said to Him, "Why do You speak to them in parables?" 11 [d]Jesus answered them, "To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been granted. 12 For whoever has, to him more shall be given, and he will have an abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has shall be taken away from him. 13 Therefore I speak to them in parables; because while seeing they do not see, and while hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. 14 [e]In their case the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled, which says,
'[f]You will keep on hearing, [g]but will not understand;
[h]You will keep on seeing, but will not perceive;
15 For the heart of this people has become dull,
With their ears they scarcely hear,
And they have closed their eyes,
Otherwise they would see with their eyes,
Hear with their ears,
And understand with their heart and return,
And I would heal them.'
Twaha Please know that there are very many people who think that they are Christians because their parents were Christians. That is not the case. You Muslims believe that Islam is hereditary, but we Christians-true Christian believe that all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory God. For one to be justified and be made right with God, one must confess with his mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and that He came and died and rose again. To show you that being born in a religion does not give you salvation from the bondage of sin, read the following passage, it is self explanatory. Please free to ask me to explain if you do not understand. Romans 9. Here we see a people born in a perfect religion but what does the word say about them? Read on
I am telling the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience testifies with me in the Holy Spirit, that I have great sorrow and unceasing grief in my heart. For I could [a]wish that I myself were accursed, separated from Christ for the sake of my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh, who are Israelites, to whom belongs the adoption as sons, and the glory and the covenants and the giving of the Law and the temple service and the promises, whose are the fathers, and from whom is [b]the Christ according to the flesh, who is over all, God blessed [c]forever. Amen.
But it is not as though the word of God has failed. For they are not all Israel who are descended from Israel; nor are they all children because they are Abraham's [d]descendants, but: "[e]through Isaac your [f]descendants will be named." That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are regarded as [g]descendants. For this is the word of promise: "At this time I will come, and Sarah shall have a son." 10 And not only this, but there was Rebekah also, when she had conceived twins by one man, our father Isaac; 11 for though the twins were not yet born and had not done anything good or bad, so that God's purpose according to His choice would [h]stand, not [i]because of works but [j]because of Him who calls,

I will be glad to hear from you. The underlying fact here is, the Jesus of the Bible is not the Jesus of the Muslims. Quoting professors or religion who do not believe in Jesus does not make true that He is not what He claimed to be. Adam being called the son of God does not demean Jesus in fact it put emphasis that indeed Jesus is the son of God who came as the second Adam to destroy the gates of hell.

The Gospel in which Muslims believe, and no one's Islam is valid unless he believes in it, is not the gospels that are in the hands of the Christians nowadays. Rather the Gospel in which we believe is that which was brought by 'Eesa (Jesus – peace be upon him) from Allaah. As for that which is in the hands of the Christians today, it is something else, and the Christians themselves do not claim that Jesus is the one who brought it or wrote it.

Asserting that Jesus is the son of God and that God is his father –exalted be Allaah above having a son or a wife – does not amount to any kind of proof against the Muslims, because we believe that that is something that was fabricated by human beings, and it is not part of the religion of Jesus (peace be upon him) or the religion of any other Messenger.

We believe that the Gospels that are in people's hands today, in which the Christians believe, have been tampered with and changed, and are still being tampered with from time to time, so that there is nothing left in the form in which the Gospel was revealed from Allaah. Here we would point out that the Gospel which speaks most of the belief in the trinity and the divinity of the Messiah (peace be upon him), so that it has become a reference-point for the Christians in their arguments in support of this falsehood, is the Gospel of John. This Gospel is subject to doubts about its authorship even among some Christian scholars themselves, as is not the case with the other Gospels in which they believe. This is an ancient doubt which goes back to the second century CE according to their own history.

Professor Stadlin says: The entire Gospel of John was written by one of the students of the Alexandrian school. One sect, in the second century, rejected this Gospel and everything that was attributed to John.

In the Encyclopaedia Britannica it says:

As for the gospel of John, it is undoubtedly fabricated. Its author wanted to pitch two of the disciples against one another, namely St. John and St. Matthew.

The Bible in which it says that the Messiah is the son of God is the same Bible in which the lineage of the Messiah ends with Adam (peace be upon him), and he too is described as a son of God.

"Now Jesus himself was about thirty years old when he began his ministry. He was the son, so it was thought, of Joseph, the son of Heli … the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God"

[Luke 3:23-38]

This is the same Bible that describes Israel in the same terms:

"Then say to Pharaoh, 'This is what the LORD says: Israel is my firstborn son"

[Exodus 4:22]

Something similar appears in the Book of Hosea:

"When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son"

[Hosea 11:1]

The same is said of Soloman (peace be upon him):

"He said to me: 'Solomon your son is the one who will build my house and my courts, for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father"

[I Chronicles 28:6]

Were Adam, Israel and Soloman all other sons of God, before the Messiah (peace be upon him)? Exalted be Allaah far above what they say!

This usage of the word "son" in the language of the Bible is a metaphor for the righteous servant of God, without it implying anything special or unique about the way in which he is created, or describing him literally as the offspring of God. Hence John says:

"How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!"

[1 John 3:1]

For the same reason Adam is also called a son of God – exalted be Allaah far above that.

There remains the issue of Eesa (peace be upon him) being described as a son of God, and what they fabricated about the Lord of the Worlds, saying that He was the father of the Messiah (peace be upon him). This too is not unique in the language of the Gospels:

"Jesus said, Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'"

O Allaah, guide us to Your straight path, The way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger, nor of those who went astray.

Brother Twaha,
I think we should agree that the Bible too is a book for Muslims because if the Jesus of the Bible is a PROPHET of Islam, then the Bible of Jesus is a muslim book too. If that is not the case, then the Islamic Jesus is not the Christian Biblical Jesus. We can then discuss.
Paul
