Its not lost that MM is not a saleable item in or around Mt.Kenya if what Hon.Kabando + Hon.Linturi's remarks (public) are anything to go by.

 

Note that Hon.Eugine stepped aside for Mudavadi for the Luyha unity.MM has literally lived in western - perhaps he wants to be a president of Western Kenya coz Kioni wont make even for himself in support of a "foreigner" !

 

At best,Mudavadi will through his weight to Ouru & Co.in the runoff forgetting that CORD will make it in the first 90 minutes only.

 

So far,the horses are two - the rest are donkeys and mules!

Mudavadi must have been forced by someone somewhere to put Kioni as VP. The last I heard was that Kioni had taken off to TNA !!!  What's the gameplan now? Something is happening here. It's not a simple decision. For mudavadi to be a serious candidate, he needed a Kale runningmate, not a Kiuk. Having a Kiuk there tells me that Mudavadi is still a contingency in case Uhuru/Ruto are indisposed.

A frog does not jump around during the day for no reason. Only if something is after its life.

I don't know about Warsama...but I have never been hot for Mudavadi since I learned Kanu was also in UDF group. I haven't touched anything Kanu...knowingly, except The Standard at weekends for Maddo on Sats, for the political analysts Sun. and Crazy Monday.
Mudavadi has changed much over the years too...he used to be quite smart but see him  a today...dithering....but still, a gentleman. I've only really heard of AbdiKadir from that group whom I admire for his brilliant brain, tribeless demeanor and patriotism as a Kenyan. So...Mudavadi's choice for a running mate today....didn't move me any. I haven't heard anyone say it was a good move but maybe the wives and kids and all the hugging toned the occasion down? It's not time to bring the family out yet ? Those are for last impressions?..with a bit of cheese cake maybe.
Well... there's still a few days left for stuff to happen.I still prefer Karua to any of 'em.

I'm wondering whether Abdikadir moved to TNA some time back or is he still UDF. ?

I tend to agree with you. KANU in UDF is another stumbling block for me.

Amani is off my list of possibilities .....for my vote.

Which only leaves Eagles, Martha or Uhuru combo.

I may just have to go for Jubilee guys

UDF Party Leader Musalia Mudavadi has just been forced to make a costly blunder - he named Jeremiah Kioni, immediate MP for Ndaragwa in Central Kenya, as his running mate.

Kioni's sole value to UDF is in the role of campaign financier in partnership with immediate Laikipia West MP Ndiritu Muriithi.

With this running mate, Mudavadi's campaign is set to head nowhere. Neither Kioni or Muriithi can bring him votes from Central Kenya and in fact the combined tally of the votes they will harvest from Kikuyus will not be even half the votes garnered by Abdulkadir Mohamed in Mandera Central. Kioni or Muriithi do not have a iota of the stature commanded by Martha Karua and Peter Kenneth in Kikuyuland. What a tragedy for Musalia. It is a lesson that if you dont own the purse-strings to your campaign you cannot have it. Now Kioni simply having a moment in the limelight before fading into political oblivion, but his moment will be very costly to Mudavadi.

It reminds me of children who threw stones at frogs in a pond and when the frogs protested, the children said: "We are only having fun." To which the frogs said: "It may be fun for you but it is death to us."

UDF is a write-off outside Kakamega. Suleiman Shahbal jumped in time from this sinking ship.
