[wanabidii] HATE SPEECH-BITANGE MUST NOT JUST TALK BUT ACT.

Oh yes,Bitange must act,and we also need the political will.

We the people of kenya needs to ignore leaders who preach about others other than their individual/party manifestoes and development agendas.

The same committees must also monitor public forums and rallies and have heads rollings down to effect morality and sanity.

It is noteworthy to hear that CCK has set up a committee to monitor hate speech on blogs, forums and other social media. This is long overdue. Also going by the hate mongers on social media, I believe this committee has a lot of work to do.

I must ask all to from now henceforth be vigilant and help nab those whose utterances and what they write can cause incitement and spur violence.

There is already so much literature out here that would put some folks behind bars for long if action was taken.

Let us all remain factual, respectful, decent in our social media interactions.
