Re: [wanabidii] KIKWETE AT A LOSS TO EXPLAIN SERENGETI HIGHWAY PLANS

That is good for them. But for any one who has travelled by road from Arusha to Ngorongoro, must admit the importance of the road to be built.
So that is to say, our plan (Tanzanians) here we are to give a full support for this project. It is totally wrong for any outsider, it doesn't matter in which country he/she comes from, to interfere our domestic plans.

It is an insult and not acceptable at all.

Neville,

They claim that the road will interfere with the freedom of animals in
those parks to move freely.
That road south of Nairobi is supposed to be a by-pass to decongest
Nairobi. Vehicles coming from Mombasa to Uganda and Rwanda will be
able to by-pass Nairobi.
These people are more concerned with animals than with people or the
big picture. Things like traffic congestion and pollution in Nairobi
don't concern them, just animals. They are the same people who can
spend 10,000 shillings to feed a dog but will not give a homeless
person 5 shillings to buy a mango.

Courage
