[wanabidii] Appreciation

Thanks Maurice. Even as I mourn Uncle, we had a very productive meeting with Coopi at their offices yesterday. Ms Chiara Camozzi, Mr. Chris Sunday and Mr. Pollycurp Mboyah were at hand to receive Mr. Otieno Sungu and myself during that Courtesy Call. Today at 10am, we will be making a Courtesy Call at the Kenya Association of Manufacturers and then visit Mukuru Waste Recyclers in Dandora. We will also be visiting Kibera for some informal discussions. Tomorrow, we will be meeting with the Chief Public Health Officer Dr Kepha Ombacho, to share with him the rot that is Kibera. We must as a Team do something about the Garbage situation in Lindi and Laini Saba. We cannot pretend that all is well and keep living like this. In the afternoon, we will be meeting with Oxfam GB. On Thursday, as I leave for Home, Mr. Sungu will join with SAI and others in a meeting that also aims at sorting the waste and garbage situation in Kenya. We must be agreed that we must not conduct any more studies on waste. We have had enough studies since Independence 49 Years ago. What we must do now is to remove the waste and garbage from amongst us. We must sho case this as a clear deliverable in this Transformative Agenda that is The Clean Kenya Campaign. I want to appreciate all the Teams that are working for a Clean Kenya across all the Country. Back to my Uncle, I will be meeting with Friends at Walkers at 5pm tomorrow, to plan for my Uncle's burial. We will remove the body from Siaya District Hospital on Friday at 3pm for an overnight stay at his home in Ndere Alego. He will be laid to rest on Saturday at about 3pm.
