Today I filed Petition No. 361 of 2012, in the High Court at Nairobi. I am seeking, among others, orders barring political parties which used forged membership lists to comply with the Political Parties Act, 2011, to be barred from fielding candidates at the forthcoming by-elections and at the 2013 general elections.
The matter was certified urgent by Lady Justice Mumbi Ngugi who directed me to serve the parties for hearing on August 30, 2012.
