The same thing happened in Toronto to someone I know. She had a baby
by caeserian and 2 days later the thread came off. A careful
investigation narrowed the problem down to hygiene. The sewn area must
be kept very clean and clear of bacteria and germs. It has to be wiped
thoroughly with rubbing alcohol.

In a lot of such cases the doctors forget to give the patients proper
information on how to keep the wound area clean. Then bacteria gets
in, rots the sewn area and the threads come out. If tis one in Mt Meru
Hospital happened after 2 weeks, then that is what happened. Bacteria
rot the meat around the sewn area.
I hope they heal from that setback.
