Re: [wanabidii] Do we need dictatorship?

What we need is a good and honest leader, weather a dictator or a democratically elected one. The Leader, who can lead Tanzanians and guide them to success,. Today we have lost faith even in our elected leaders and doubt and question their decisions. A real leader can understand the need of the masses and the country. He can mobilize support from every person even though the decision is painful for some of them but good for the country as a whole. Besides this the people of Tanzania must understand the benefits of discipline and education. One can see the difference between the students of a disciplined school and rouge school.

I think there is a serious misconception that leadership is everything for a country to develop. Not necessarily, because development starts with you and when you take the right actions and make right decision to embark on economic and social activities that will contribute to development your contribution will lead to development.  Let us start to do positive things that benefit our society both socially and economically we will see huge change.  Even the leadership will be forced to change and move towards our direction and we can influence their change and behavior.  For example you know well that corruption is bad therefore you can start by fighting corruption by not taking or giving into corruption and expose those people and their practices which you think makes them corrupt.  Another example is for you to start saving and plan to invest into people instead of drinking three beers a day, drink one bear and then save the cost of one bear to enhance your savings (this savings could be used to invest and grow your wealth) and the third bear save its cost and use the savings to sponsor one child who is unable to go to school because of lack of school fees. Those include many other examples, are pro-development and by doing that in mass we can make a huge difference in our country. Tanzania bila umaskini inawezekana and it starts with you.
